Cardamom

Cardamom is the dried fruit of Herbatious Perennial Elettaria Cardamomum and a great Sri Lankan spice.It is the world's third-most expensive spice. It is popularly known as "Queen of Spice".

Cinnamon

Cinnamon is the dried bark of the perennial tree. True cinnamon is native to Sri Lanka. Cinnamon is originally grown wild in central hill country of Sri Lanka.

Cloves

Clove is the dried unopened flower bud spice of the evergreen clove tree. It may be that the Arabian traders or Colonial rulers brought the plant to the country, as Sri Lanka was a major trading hub for spices.

Nutmeg

Nutmeg is a perennial evergreen spice tree. Nutmeg is mainly used for culinary purposes usually in ground or grated form, confectioneries and bakery products.

Mace

Mace is a spice made from the waxy red covering Nutmeg seeds and the flavor is similar to that of Nutmeg. It is made available for export in both whole and ground form

Garcinia/ Goraka

Goraka has been used in Sri Lanka since ancient times for cooking and medicinal purposes. This is a medium evergreen, shade loving, relatively slow growing tree naturally found in the local tropical rainforests of Sri Lanka.
